Draft minutes of a meeting held on Tuesday 1st October, 2018 at the village hall, Parracombe. The meeting opened at 7.30pm.
Councillors present: Mr J Holtom (Chair), Mr D Austin (Vice-Chair), Mr S Cheetham, Mr W Fawcett. Clerk: Mrs J Walters.
Mrs S Bastock, Mr K Green , Mrs D Harding.
62/50/18/007 Proposed change of use of stone agricultural building to dwelling together with amalgamation of existing cottage into adjoining farmhouse and the installation of septic tank to serve proposed dwelling. Sunnyside Farm, Parracombe.
As the applicant is a member of the Parish Council, PPC would normally ask ENPA to proceed in accordance with policy. However the applicant’s agent makes it clear that she is seeking a ‘deviation’ from policy. We were unsure as to why a CLUED has not been applied for and note the concern of the Historic buildings officer, the planning history and the applicant’s statement regarding highway issues. We wish to act in a fair and considerate manner but under the circumstances cannot support the application.
62/50/18/008&009LB Proposed conversion of Grade2 listed building from 3 flats to 1 dwelling. Retrospective. Peel House, Parracombe.
Whilst we regret the loss of the three affordable dwellings we recognise that these were lost when the property was sold by NDH. We support the conversion to family accommodation but would like to see a principal residency restriction placed on it.
Accounts for payment £ Slee Blackwell Apr-Aug 675.00 TOTAL £675.00
