“Making their name across Europe as a band with a fired-up live show that rings out into the night air like a 21 gun salute.”– Total Ntertainment
Here in Parracombe, we’ve had a last-minute opportunity to put on a music gig in the village hall on Friday 22nd April.
Devon based singer songwriter Small Town (Jim) Jones is joined by long-time friend and well known local musician David Little for an evening of emotionally charged folk roots rock with a North Devonian ‘Americana’ twist.
The last couple of years have proved promising for Devon-based singer songwriter Small Town (Jim) Jones. Having provoked numerous great reviews, including a four-star review in Q magazine and a 5 star review in Maverick, Jim is making some noticeable waves.
His honest style of song writing coupled with the intense and soulful acoustic sound have earned him praise from the likes of such folks as the acclaimed singer songwriters Ray Davies, Peter Bruntnell, John Murry and Willy Vlautin.
