Wednesday, 1 Nov: Ladies Lunch at The Fox & Goose. Booking essential 763239

Friday, 3 Nov: Film night ‘The Wild Tour’ 7.30pm at the Village Hall. Entrance free. Bar available. In celebration of UNESCO International Day for Biosphere Reserves. There will also be a short talk by Keith Denby about the North Devon Marine Biosphere plus a display about the North Devon Biosphere Reserve.

Sunday, 5 Nov: Walking Football back by popular demand. Every Sunday 10am-11am on the tennis court. All welcome.

Sunday, 5 Nov: Parracombe Christmas Choir rehearsals start.  Every Sunday 6pm-7pm at the Village Hall. All welcome. The emphasis will be very much on the merry, as opposed to actual singing ability, so why not come along and join in. The aim will be to sing at the Christ Church Carol Service on Sunday, 17 December and other dates TBC. 

Tuesday, 7 Nov: Parish Council Meeting 7.30pm at the Village Hall

Sunday, 12 Nov: Service of Remembrance 11am at Christ Church. Gather at 10.45am at the War Memorial for laying of wreaths & poppies 

Friday, 17 Nov: Beaford in Parracombe:  Spitz & Co present ‘Elvis in Blue Hawaii’ (comedy/music) 8pm at the Village Hall. Doors 7.30pm, licensed bar available. Tickets £10 in advance from Parracombe Pavilion Stores & Café or £12 on the door. Also online at beaford.org (fees apply).

Saturday, 25 Nov: Western Party 8pm til late at The Old Station Inn raising money for the Parracombe Play area. Buffet 8-9pm – Josh Beer and band – dancing – bucking bronco – prizes for best dressed & longest bull rider – cocktails & shots. Riverside Taxis offering a shuttle bus taxi service. 

Wednesday, 29 Nov: Movember Charity Coffee Morning 11am-12noon at the Village Hall
